God Never Releases a Warning Without an Accompanying Winning Strategy

Demonic activity has been on the uptick; partially from the approaching satanic High Holy Day, but also from demon-possessed individuals Satan is currently occupying in an effort to increase disorder in the land.

There are voices in the body of Christ who are reasoning the times and seasons of God from their soul realm and not from the realm of God’s Holy Spirit. The Lord says that some people are falling for the propaganda being administered by the enemy in hopes that the people of God will ascribe to the “spirit of fear”. We do not have the spirit of fear beloved, but we have the Holy Spirit of God, alive and working within us to expose and defeat the wicked plans of the evil one. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. Do not fall for the false testimony of the enemy in this hour; the body of Christ is actually being positioned for ruler-ship and the devil knows it.

The Word of God tells us that we will always have the poor among us and the same can be said for those who walk in darkness. There will always be sects of people who are seeking our destruction as the god of this world is feverishly working to destroy the plans of God in these last days; but thankfully, we have a great High Priest who will not allow us to suffer. He is teaching us through His Word that we will indeed be priests and kings unto our God in THIS world, in this time and in this hour. The body of Christ is actually being positioned to manifest the glory of God in this hour and while there will be pockets of trouble in certain places or uprisings in others, these demonic outbursts will not hinder the plans and purposes of God.

When darkness is exposed we are not to run into our perspective caves and hide from the enemy; on the contrary, we are to assemble ourselves for war. We are indeed in a battle for the souls of man and for the manifestation of the ready-made Bride of Christ, whom the Lord will call to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb when He says it is finished. This is certainly not the time to fall for the propaganda of the demonic and to surrender to a lie. When the rumblings of the devil are revealed, it is our responsibility to subdue the darkness and overtake the demonic with the Word of God, and the sword of the Spirit and the power of the Holy One in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not a time to yell, “Alas! The sky is falling!”

We currently have some voices in the body who are sharing visions they have received in the night and visions they have seen in meditation with God and although the visions are revealing “trouble” on the horizon, these same people are failing to understand the authority of the Church over the demonic and they are correcting the body from a place of fear instead of a place of power.

Are we still so immature we haven’t yet discerned that when the Lord reveals something to us in the spirit realm that marks us for battle, that He has also assigned a strategy for us to win? God never releases a battle plan without an accompanying winning strategy. Perhaps these well-meaning ministers of the gospel should be asking God for the battle plans of the enemy instead of running to the internet to warn the Church of impending doom? Saints, the warnings we are receiving from the War Room of Heaven are meant for our battle against the demonic. They are not meant for us to use as a means of scolding the Church or inciting doom.

We have already been judged. The judgment of the world fell upon the body of the Lord Jesus Christ over two thousand years ago and for those who have received His free gift of Love, we are no longer under the curse of death. We have passed over into life. We are no longer slaves to the spirit of death, but we are children of Light. We are His offspring, made in His image, in power, in His glory and through the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are the HEAD and not the tail! Therefore, when dreams in the night seasons come with warnings, it is our responsibility to seek the strategies of the Lord and REBUKE the demonic. It is incumbent upon us to use our authority in the spirit to place the devil on notice and to declare to the demonic that we will not be fodder for the enemy and we not allow the devil to interrupt the divine purposes of God for His Church on this earth.

It is we dear brothers and sisters, who are the extension of God the Father in the earth and it is we who have the authority and power over ALL the power of the enemy in the Name of Jesus Christ to manifest life, liberty and dominion. We are supposed to be subduing the enemy, not aggrandizing his demonic schemes to attack the earth with violence and fear. When we receive a dream, a word or a vision from the Father that comes with a warning, our first reaction should be to declare and decree that no weapon formed against us shall prosper; and secondly, we should make every effort to speak to the darkness and tell it in no uncertain terms that we will not tolerate the plans of the enemy. He is a trespasser, a liar, a counterfeit, a thief, a destroyer and a crook and he is destined for eternal hell; whereas we are salt and light and power and honor and kings and priests; and we will reign over the earth in the mighty Name of Jesus according to the Holy Spirit of God, who is alive and moving in each and every one of us who name the Name of Jesus as Savior and Mighty Deliverer.

We worship the King who is over all kings and the Lord who is over all lords and we KNOW that we win; and thus, we have nothing to fear. So, going forward, let us position ourselves for battle and attack the demonic and subdue the devil in faith, in love for the blessed Church, and in power for the sake of the gospel of the Kingdom. As His chosen people, we are the ones whom God has ordained in this time and in this hour to manifest His glory in the earth; so put away the propaganda of the enemy and act like kings and priests of the Lord and subdue the darkness. Our God holds the battle plans for victory; ask for them and use them in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ to defeat the devil. Amen.

You Have an Obligation to Fulfill Your Story

Do you know you have a Book in Heaven? Do you know you have an obligation to fulfill your story?

There are people who have been to Heaven and they have seen the “Books”. Yes, there is a Lamb’s Book of Life as mentioned in the Book of the Revelation, but do you know that each one of us has another “Book” that is all our own in Heaven; and inside the pages of that personal Book is our own personal story created with God.

Something not taught in most churches is our true heritage—our heavenly one—where we came from before He attached our little spirits to our mother’s egg at conception. Yes, our spirits are attached to the egg in our mother’s bodies at conception when the sperm enters the egg. Science has proven that at this exact moment, a blast of light occurs inside the body of a woman when the sperm and the egg meet. The Bible also speaks of God’s knowing us before the foundation of the world. He said: “Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 and Ephesians 1:4) And since God is no respecter of person’s, we know He knew us all before we entered the belly of our own mothers.

Clearly this implies we had a relationship with God before the foundation of the world. We are spiritual beings and spirits do not die, nor are they extinguished. Spirit beings are eternal, so it’s not a stretch to conceive the idea that we were actually with Him in the beginning before the creation of time. “Time” was created for our earthly purposes here; time is not a factor in Heaven as reported by those who have been to Heaven and even by the science of quantum physics. So, if He had communion (communication) with us prior to our physical birth here on the earth, then that communication must have occurred in Heaven. So, that brings us to the book’s that witnesses have seen in Heaven that contain the records of all that we have been doing while living life here on earth.

This ministry hasn’t heard much teaching on the Book’s from anyone in the body of Christ, but we have spent time asking Holy Spirit for more insight on what is contained in those Book’s and how we can partner with Him to walk out what is in our individual book to the glory of God. Wouldn’t you like to know how to be on the same page with God in your Book?

The first way to partner with your own story is to understand two things:
(1) You were chosen by God to come here and live The Story; the story of Jesus Christ. Each one of us is called to be the Light of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. That’s number one; and number (2), each of us has been commanded to walk in the finished works of Christ; and that essentially means we are to rest on what He has already accomplished through his life, his death, his burial and his resurrection. When we understand how to walk in the finished works of Jesus, writing our story takes on new meaning and we’re more apt to seek God’s purposes for our lives over our own; after all, when God opens our Book, don’t we want it to be a good read?

This is the part where many stumble as they have not been conditioned or taught what it means to walk in the finished works of Christ. Most of us have been taught to scrape, scrimp, fight, battle, and rage against the forces of darkness so we can sustain a life we’re barely living now just to enter Heaven by the skin of our teeth. This isn’t resting in the finished works of God.

The Bible says that the Sabbath was made for man, it’s not the reverse. God made the heavens and the earth and all its glory for the sons and daughters of God to ENJOY. Now, this doesn’t mean that we won’t have trials and tribulation; we will. The devil is still here and his mission is to destroy us, but the devil’s desire to destroy us is not supposed to usurp our destiny in God. We have a Great Savior who has made the way for us to live in the blessings of God. The earth was a gift to the sons of man and the gifts of God are without repentance. God has not negated His original intent for earth just because the devil is on the loose and an uneducated body of Christ is trying to hold on to the promises of God for dear life. On the contrary, these trials and tribulations are actually an incentive for God to show up and show out for us if we will only trust Him. These trials are part of our Book.

The Bible reminds us in one place (though there are other places too), that God watches over his words to perform them. In Isaiah 62:6-9 (NASB) it says:
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, 7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. 8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: 9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

God expects us to put Him on notice about those things He has promised to His beloved. And we fail to do this because we’re not taught to do this.

The Word says that His people suffer for a lack of knowledge; so if our basic rights to the “blessing” as sons and daughters isn’t even being taught, then it’s safe to say that the teaching on the finished works of Christ isn’t being taught either and this has left the Church at a terrible disadvantage.

For the purpose of this writing, we’re not going to delve into identity and son-ship, because each one of us is expected to begin this quest for knowledge individually, with the help of Holy Spirit and through the study of our Bibles. Additionally, we have plenty of articles at What You Will™ to help get you started on your own personal study of God’s Word about your rights as His chosen; but we are going to touch on walking in the finished works so you can partner with God through YOUR own special story found in your own personal Book.

The finished works are the things Jesus did for us on his way to the cross, at the death and resurrection of the cross, and even nowHis life beyond the cross. Prior to the cross were the finished works of devout character, faith, belief, prosperity, healing, salvation, life and stewardship as followers of Him combined with all the instructions and examples Jesus provided to the disciples to help them to become like Him on the earth. At the cross were the finished works of redemption and the nullifying of sin and death and the putting down of the devil’s right to illegally harass the Church and hold her in bondage to darkness. Beyond the cross are the works of the Holy Spirit of Promise, the manifestations of the greater works, (greater works than these shall you do because I go to My Father) and the dispensation of grace that we enjoy now. And even more so, is the abundance of revelation that continues to touch the Body of Christ as Holy Spirit extrapolates more information from the Father as it pertains to the study of the Scriptures. Now obviously, this is not an exhaustive list of the amazing things Jesus accomplished for us through the works of the cross; but it does give us a general idea of some of the things He accomplished to give you and me life and life more abundantly.

As His Bride—His Body, we are the most essential part of these finished works; because our works are not yet finished. As long as we are alive and on this earth, our Book is still being written and even though we sat with the Father before the ‘world that was’ and talked about what should go into our Book, we still have a say so in how the story unfolds here and now on the earth. A-ha! The caveat to the story! Our individual self-will; but we digress.

Wouldn’t it be a lot easier to fulfill our story with the help of Jesus by walking in the finished works? Isn’t it clear to see that if we partner with Him it will be so much easier to stay in-step with the plans of God for our lives especially when attacks from the enemy come? The blessings can only come through obedience right? So it seems reasonable to assume that our story will be more manageable if we get onto the same page with God.

For example, if you’re being persecuted by someone on the job and that persecution has made it difficult for you to perform your duties and it has also made it difficult for you to keep a positive attitude, then you need to know how to walk in the finished works of Christ. What does He promise you? A future and a hope; recompense against your enemies; peace; assistance; personal representation; the breaking of all weapons formed against you; power over all the power of the enemy; and most importantly, a sound mind. So if you’re caught in the crossfire of the devil, you know that you have the upper hand over your enemies and over your situation; which allows you to stay the course to your own story. Not only that, the knowledge of the finished works also helps you to secure the blessings He has promised because you’re walking in according to His purpose, which is ultimately the fulfillment of the finished works of Christ in YOU! Man this is good!

If you know this, then you have the assurance that this attack (distraction, weapon, arrow) being formed against you has no authority, so you are able to proceed in honor before others because you have His promises to be faithful to you. When we really understand who we are in this earth and what we shared with the Father before we were sent here, then we will be able to complete that story because we will have truly partnered with God to tell it.

Have you partnered with God to write your story? If not, now is the time to ask Him to help you do that; now is the time to get into agreement with the story you and He designed before the foundation of the world.

Just like Jesus, each one of us had a story we defined with God before He ever released us into this world and just like Jesus, you and I have a say in how that story is written. Wouldn’t you like to be on the same page as your Heavenly Father? Wouldn’t you like to make sure you’re not missing one chapter, one paragraph or even one verse you and He determined you would write when you agreed to manifest the contents of that Book on the earth?

We trust that you are asking Him right now to position you to walk in the story that was meant just for you; the one you and He decided together before the foundation of the world. We know once you partner with Him to walk-out your story in the here and now, you will receive an avalanche of knowledge and revelation about the many challenges and victories you have already encountered and you’ll be better equipped to address the challenges that will come in the future.

Saints, we here at What You Will™ are praying for you to partner with God to finish that story so your Book in Heaven will be an amazing read!

The Preaching of Conviction versus the Demonstration of Encounter

There are many ways to go about snatching the souls of men from the pit of hell; but for this ministry, we have found that the message of grace combined with the demonstration of Holy Ghost power in love, is the most effective way to entice a sinner to examine himself and then seek the Redeemer for deliverance from sin. It is a personal divine encounter with the True and Living God that ultimately draws men and women to repentance. Without the conviction of sin, there is no need to turn away from the mindsets of the world and without a turning away, there is no repentance.

Unfortunately, people hear messages of doom and gloom from the pulpit and even well-meaning members in the body of Christ; and therefore, the lost don’t see the value in serving God. Instead, they hear that they are sinful, unworthy and never able to measure up to the goodness of God because they are filthy wretches. They reject that messaging from the heart and the interest in knowing God and serving God is quenched. Conversion is not a head matter, it’s a heart matter.

At What You Will™, we have learned that people are more apt to have a real conversion when they have a real encounter with the Living God. It is next to impossible to deny the experience of a divine powerful encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. This writer met the power of God at the age of 19 when an intercessor who stood in the office of a prophet laid hands on me in prayer and began to ‘loose’ the power of God to touch me and boy did it ever. The power of God was so strong upon me I was shaking. I did my best to control my physical body as the power of God moved to my knees. I could barley manage to stand under the force of power overcoming my body; but because I was so self-conscious and didn’t understand at the time what was really taking place during that encounter, I did what I could to stay on my feet and not collapse to the floor. I had an encounter that night and the woman who had prayed for me never pointed out my sin; instead, she let the manifest power of God do the talking for her.

Very few Christian’s pray for the lost to have a divine encounter with God. Religion teaches most to pray for others to be convicted of their sin when that’s really not what draws people to repentance. The Word says it is the good things of (or the goodness of God) that leads people to repentance (Romans 2:4). As for the issue of conviction as it pertains to one knowing right from wrong (feeling conviction), the Bible says that He has already placed within man the knowledge of good versus evil (I am giving out revelation here; think the Book of Genesis) and that men do indeed know the difference between the two. God has also stated in His Word that His goodness is clearly manifested in the way He formed and cared for the earth at the creation; and even now, His goodness is still expressed in all He provides to us with the former and the latter rain, seed time and harvest, and the rising of the sun every day, as examples. The Bible also states that God rains on the just and the unjust (Matthew 5:45). There are many other things we can point to and praise Him for of course; but the point is, the evidence of God is clearly seen in creation; therefore, men are without excuse if they do not repent (Romans 1:20) and conviction is a given after a divine encounter.

That leads me back to the prayer for conviction verses the prayer for encounter. We win more souls by demonstrating the goodness of God (with actual manifestations of Holy Ghost power that provide an opportunity for encounter) over preaching the traditional doctrine of repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. One message points to man’s failures; which is a message of condemnation. The other message points to the goodness of God; which is the foundation of grace. And it is by GRACE through faith that men and women are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).

No one can just say a simple prayer and be saved because faith without works…turning away from Death unto Life…is dead (James 2:26). Without a real conversion manifested from a powerful encounter with the True and Living God, there is no salvation; only empty words from a prayer repeated by a sinner as lead by a preacher, a teacher, a pastor or a layman in the Body of Christ. A repetitive prayer spoken under the duress of condemnation holds very little if any weight. It is only after a divine encounter with God that real repentance takes place; and with that, real conviction. Then there will be a turning away from the wickedness of the world that gripped the sinner before He knew he had access to grace, and the Redeemer Who provides it.

Dear children, demonstrate encounter.

The Powerful Purpose in Suffering

In every situation, we will only subdue for others the things which we ourselves have overcome.

Trials are meant to do more than just remove the dross from our souls; they actually become the earmarks of specific situations we will subdue for others in the realm of the spirit.

On the road to Damascus, Paul lost his sight for a season. He surrenders to Jesus and finds redemption. While on the road to Cypress (Acts 9:9), Paul speaks to Elymas the sorcerer, who was attempting to pervert the faith. Filled with the Holy Spirit, Paul commands that the sorcerer will lose his sight for a season and that is exactly what happened (Acts 13:9).

Jesus could have never become the perfect High Priest had He not walked in our circumstances. In order to be a high priest that could identify with our condition, He allowed Himself to become familiar with our very struggles and limitations then overcame them through death on the cross (Hebrews 2:17-18). It was after He pushed through the suffering He was able to overcome suffering for us.

There is always a higher purpose in suffering. Once we push through the difficulty not only will we acquire deliverance, but we will be ordained to push back the darkness impeding others.

With Much Wisdom Is Much Sorrow (Ecclesiastes 1:18)

Would the Apostle Paul have acquired the wisdom needed to write two thirds of the New Testament had he not been placed into prison several times? Don’t we receive the most poignant and beautiful revelations from God’s Word when we are locked into a position that renders us immovable? It is during times of restraint we glean the most revelation from the Word (John 1:1-3). These times deeply increase our faith in Jesus and our respect for His death on the cross. Gross hardship causes us to reflect on the divine purpose of His ministry and why He had to give up everything to cover us in His blood.

Sometimes we must be contained by circumstances so we have opportunities to dwell on what the Spirit of the Lord is trying to teach us about Him, about Jesus, and about the Father. It is in these times of captivity, during the quiet, when all other voices but His are silent we receive from Him the fresh manna that we need to press forward towards another day. These times are usually precluded by sorrow—situations that arise in life that cause us to lay prostrate at the feet of Jesus crying out for wisdom, for compassion and for His love; but mostly, during times of deep sorrow we merely want understanding. We want to know why we are faced with a particular situation and how to come to terms with it. It is in these moments we acquire what is needed to endure hardship and grow. It is during great grief and deep sorrow that we allow the Father to enter into the quiet of our situation so He can give us the understanding we need to cope while He puts all the broken pieces back together.

Therefore, do not despise the hardships. Don’t allow yourself to become the victim of your circumstance. Use circumstance as an opportunity to acquire revelation and wisdom from God. Allow yourself to be captured by Holy Spirit so He can pour into you what is needed to help you grow and to help you to better understand who He is. Revelation comes with sacrifice. None of us will access the deeper things of God without experiencing difficulty and painful circumstances; but the revelation that will be gleaned from our trials will far outweigh the hardships. Be willing to seek Him through the difficult places and take the wisdom He provides to help you grow and do not reject the instruction of the Father during difficult seasons. Wisdom cannot speak to you in a powerful way unless you’re willing to pay a price for it. Do not despise the affliction of pain; for momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17). Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Proverbs 4:7).

Be blessed dear friends.

Abundance That Sinks Ships

There are so many messages out there about salvation, repentance, producing good works, and having faith in God—all wonderful teachings from God’s precious holy written Word—but isn’t it interesting that when it was time for Jesus to choose his disciples, His first demonstration of kingdom power was to teach on the law of abundance and how to take a harvest (Luke 5:3-7). In fact, the catch of fish that Peter caught was so large it tore his nets and he needed the help of James and John to take in the catch. It also says in the same passage that the boats began to sink from the heavy load. Out of the many things Jesus could have used as an invitation to follow Him; He chose the message of abundance and then He followed the message with an extraordinary act of abundance.

The message of the kingdom encompasses abundance. Abundant life, abundant resources, abundant health, abundant grace, abundant power, abundant peace and so many other things too numerous to name. And out of all the things Jesus could have done to compel these young men to follow Him, it was an act of abundance that spoke to their hearts. The scripture says that amazement had seized Peter after the massive catch of fish (Luke 5:9). It was this act of abundance that caused Peter to repent for questioning the Lord’s command to cast his nets into the water after he had already endured a long night of effort to produce a catch yielding zero results.

The point is this; if we want to catch fish then we need to speak to people about God’s abundance.

When Jesus showed up in Peter’s boat, He didn’t point out Peter’s flaws, He spoke to Peter and His friends about the greatness of God and the abundance of the kingdom of God to meet every need; heal every heart; and change every life—in abundance. The message of God’s abundant goodness was more than enough to convict Peter of His sin. He certainly didn’t need Jesus to point out his faults; therefore, it is important for us to speak abundance into the lives of those God brings to us for comfort, for healing, for deliverance. We need to talk about how big our God is and share with the world that what He did for Peter and James and John, He can do for them and for their situation. All things are possible for anyone who chooses to believe (Mark 9:23).

God wants to show up in power for the lost in a big way and He especially wants to show up in abundance for His chosen ones. Does this mean we neglect to teach others about the need for repentance, or salvation, or blessing God with good works? Of course not, but when we need to capture the hearts of those God is seeking to bless. We need to go big with our messaging. Our testimony of God’s goodness should manifest amazement in the eyes and ears of the hearer. Yes, there will be times when we are to approach some in gentleness and with great caution, perhaps even treating them with kid gloves; but for the most part, we must be exuding the power of God in our personal lives and sharing what we know with others about the GREATNESS of God’s abundance. Abundant living! Abundant health! Abundant blessings! Abundant love! It is written in the good Book, “What no eye has seen, [and] no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived—God has prepared these things for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9). Woohoo! So the next time you have an opportunity to testify the love of Jesus to another soul, saved or unsaved, think about proclaiming the abundance of God to them and using examples from your own life that confirm His deep desire to amaze us with His goodness. I bet you’ll catch a lot more fish when you do.

Shifting Culture – Manifesting in the Plans of God

At What You Will™, we spend a lot of time covering kingdom principles that produce dynamic results. We teach Biblical concepts that show others how to take hold of God’s very best for daily living. By walking out the Word, we can all achieve powerful results for every situation. Right now, God is shifting things in the realm of the spirit, and He is compelling this ministry to expand our teaching to include dynamic results that shift culture and not only one’s personal sphere of influence. God is not only calling us to impact our families, but to impact our neighborhoods, our cities and even the nations. He is calling us to shift mindsets and to prepare the way for a manifestation of His glory that can only come through His people. It is time for us to be seated at the head of the table on the world’s stage. It is not His will that we continue to drink the dregs from the bottom of the cup.

What does it mean to shift culture?

Shifting culture means debunking demonic mindsets that keep governments, neighborhoods and families in a state of economic and spiritual bondage to strongholds of poverty, drug abuse, gender confusion, hopelessness, disease and fear to name a few. These strongholds can only be broken through kingdom principles found in God’s Word. A successful shift in culture is established when kingdom-based principles become the norm in a society and not the exception. As Christian’s, when we shift culture, we are correcting the way God is perceived in the earth by those who do not know Him. Kingdom living should be so contagious in a society that people outside the fellowship of God are compelled to acquire the “God-kind” of life they see us living. When the people in our spheres of influence can consistently see that the principles we apply to daily living really do work, they will seek out any means possible to understand who our God is and how they can come to know Him personally.

So how do we shift culture?

We shift culture by taking authority over the spheres of influence that are overrun by the demonic. Some of those spheres are entertainment and media, arts and music, education and medicine, politics and religion. It is our job as ambassadors of the Kingdom to lay the groundwork for the manifestation of God’s power in the earth. God is looking for a builder whose maker is the Lord Jesus. The Scripture teaches us that we are one with Jesus just as He is one with the Father. We are commissioned to be Christ in the earth; therefore, it is up to us to build a foundation of righteous influence in our communities. Coupled with a dynamic manifestation of God’s power, the world will not be able to discredit the evidence that living the “God-kind” of life produces for those who live their life for Him.

We are commissioned to manifest the love of God, the power of God, and the mercy of God in our homes, our churches and our marketplaces. God is looking to inhabit spheres of influence through us so we can take regions for His glory. He said, “…be it on earth as it is in Heaven”. This is a command. If this isn’t a directive from God the Father, then why is it in the Book?

Revelation 5:10 …and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

1. We rule and reign on the earth through the power and leading of Holy Spirit. God has fully equipped us to be kings and priests on this earth (Revelation 1:6). He has given us as the Body of Christ, dominion over the devil and his demonic platforms in the spirit (Luke 16:19).

2. Whatever you bind on earth WILL be bound in heaven (Matthew 18:18) and the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Notice that the word “heaven” in Matthew 18:18 isn’t capitalized? Jesus is speaking of the realm of the spirit—the second heaven where spiritual warfare takes place. There is no need to bind and loose anything in Heaven itself because there is no darkness in Heaven that needs to be bound.

3. Life on earth should resemble the kingdom of Heaven and there is no darkness in that kingdom. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:17). There is no fear in Heaven. Heaven-culture is peaceful, lovely, captivating, and joyful. Our lives here on earth should represent the same spiritual qualities.

Jesus has given us authority to tread on scorpions and to have power over ALL the power of the enemy (Luke 16:19). He expects us to be His representatives on the earth. Yes, we are called to shift culture by ministering to a hurting and broken world, but we are also called to disciple those we retrieve from the clutches of darkness. It is our responsibility to preach the Kingdom and encourage those we disciple to do the same in their own spheres of influence. The Scripture says, “Whoever therefore shall break one of the least of these commandments and shall teach others to do so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:19). We are called to be great; therefore, we are to teach kingdom principles to everyone.

4. We make declarations and decrees over our families, our neighborhoods, our jobs, our governing bodies. Jesus said we can have whatsoever we desire when we pray (Mark 11:24). In Heaven, no one goes without anything. Mansions are filled with God’s best. The streets are paved with gold; the bed of the Crystal Sea is covered in rubies, diamonds, emeralds and other precious stones. There is absolutely no lack in Heaven. People eat, drink, dance, enjoy and share everything they have with one another and live in a culture of unity. The Body of Christ is called to live together in unity under the anointing of the Son and we must do more than preach this truth, we have to live it and live it like they do in Heaven.

Even as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Jesus didn’t leave us comfortless and without resources. He sent us the Holy Spirit of God to assist us, guide us, direct us and empower us to do the will of the Father. And lest we forget, He has overcome the world (John 16:33) and we are joint-heirs with Him in this life, not just the next.

We are to call those things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). If we know that Jesus has called us to kingdom living then we need to declare and decree those things that produce kingdom living. The Bible says we are to call those things that are not as though they were [already done]. We can safely surmise from this scripture that we shift culture by speaking to it. Jesus said we have not because we ask not. Well, now it is time to ask; to declare; to decree; and to expect that what we are confessing is going to come to pass!

Why we need to shift culture for God.

Jesus is coming back for a glorified Body; and saint’s, He cannot come back while we are warring among ourselves (1 Corinthians 3:3; 1 Corinthians 11:18). We have got to find a place of agreement and shifting darkened mindsets from ignorance to the goodness of the Father is an easy thing for all of us in the Body of Christ to agree upon. Jesus made it quite plain when He said in the Word that the world would know Him by our love for one another. Are we there yet?

There are hundreds and hundreds of denominations in the world today; each denomination teaching and preaching something slightly different than another. Some preach repentance from dead works but have no manifestation of Holy Spirit in their congregations. Their parishioners are sick and poor and many are dying early. Then there are other denominations that teach on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and on the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but they live in bondage to hatred, jealousy and backbiting. Praying in tongues and casting out devils doesn’t make one spiritually mature. Even people who move in more than one of the nine gifts of the Spirit can be carnally-minded.

With so many voices in the church world and each one vying for acknowledgement (or for a personal endorsement from this group or that group) it can be a challenge to find principles we can all agree upon; but surely we can all agree upon creating Heaven-culture on the earth? The world needs Heavenly principles taught by the Body of Christ to live successfully and the church needs Heavenly principles in operation before it will ever see a rapture. Jesus said to preach the “Kingdom” and then He would return for His Bride. How in the world can Jesus come for a bride that looks like we do now? Currently, we are limited in our ability as a group to manifest His glory on a national and international scale because of the divisions still apparent in the Church. So until we clean up our own house and remove the disunity from within our own walls, the rapture isn’t coming anytime soon; so we might as well roll up our rapture rugs and get about the business of the Kingdom. It is time to take our places as king’s and priests unto our God so we can shake the gates of hell to its very core and TAKE dominion over darkness. We are called to subdue and dominate in this earth; Jesus made this clear in the Word.

Those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God (Romans 8:14); so we must act like sons. How do we begin walking as sons of God?

1. We must be in right-standing with God.
2. We must be in constant fellowship with God.
3. We must be in the Word of God DAILY; taking His prescription for divine health and victorious living in these last days. How can we raise up anointed schools, anointed businesses and God-directed governments if we as a Body are slaves to bondage?
4. We must KNOW who we are in Christ Jesus; we are joint-heirs with God. We are His offspring and we are called to represent Him in the earth and to be people who walk in love towards others and manifest His plans and purposes for the world.
5. We are to annihilate the enemy with the Word of God and we are to work with God’s mighty warring Army, the host’s of Heaven to tear down demonic strongholds.
6. We are to take territory from the enemy through decrees and declarations; proclaiming God’s perfect will for our homeland, our families and our individual lives.
7. We are to live in an atmosphere of gratitude for God’s amazing love and His gift to us through Jesus Christ who has made us partakers of His wonderful grace.
8. We are to continue in the faith until He decides it is time for the trumpet to be blown and the saint’s are to be called home for life in the ever after—until then, we are to war against the demonic and glorify God with our daily walk.

The Church as a corporate body has failed to grasp exactly what God has been asking her to do since the days Jesus walked upon the earth. Jesus told us to take dominion. The commission to subdue the earth and take dominion first began with Adam and Eve in the garden, but even though they failed, their failure didn’t negate the will of God for this planet. Jesus Christ is the second Adam and He came to fulfill the plans and purposes of God, not to walk away from them—many individuals in the Body of Christ have done a disservice to the Kingdom of God by living life from the doctrines of the rapture and thus refusing to engage in kingdom principles that will advance kingdom living here on the earth. We are commanded in the Word of God to push back the darkness and to make way for the return of our King, the Lord Jesus. Jesus didn’t say to the disciples, preach the baptism of faith and I’ll return. He didn’t say, preach baptism from dead works then I’ll return. He didn’t say to His follower’s; “Preach the baptism of repentance so I can return”. He commanded them to preach the gospel of the KINGDOM. He said to preach the kingdom!

There is no baptism of faith in Heaven, we acquire that here. There is no baptism from dead works in Heaven; we learn to produce fruit from His Spirit right here. There is no baptism of repentance in Heaven; if you don’t repent here, you won’t even see a Heaven, much less be accepted by God. We are called to preach on the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus has given us multiple examples of what Heaven looks like through the parables he gave to the disciples. Does this mean that we negate the call to repent? Do we extinguish the call to produce godly fruit from righteous living? Are we to abort the message of faith? Of course not! All of these teachings help us to sustain holy living, but we are to preach the Kingdom of God to a lost and dying world as He commanded us to and THEN He will come in the clouds on a white horse of glory and finally get us out of here! Therefore, it is imperative that we understand the Kingdom—how it operates—and how we use kingdom principles to produce dynamic results in daily living here, so we can teach others to do the same and shift culture.

We really enjoy our assignment to teach kingdom principles at What You Will™; but as much as we enjoy taking territory from the enemy and marking it for God’s purposes, just like the next person, we would like to get out of here and move onto our forever home with God in Heaven; but certain conditions have to be met before God is going to take us all out of here.

Dear children, preach the Kingdom.

Don’t Tolerate Sickness!

When you know who you are in Christ, you don’t tolerate sickness and disease.

I could stop right there with that revelation alone and add, ‘The End’; but I digress. Notice the above sentence reads “when you know who you are…”

Scripture teaches us to call those things that are not as thought they were (Romans 4:17). But I like to quote Romans 4:17 this way: “I call those things that are not as though they already are”, present tense.

Why do I quote Romans 4:17 this way? Because as a believer, I choose to live and operate through Jesus Christ in the “now”. I do not live in the past. I became a new creature in Christ when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I am a new creature in Christ—present tense (2 Corinthians 5:17). I know that I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus (Romans 3:22). I have already accepted God’s free gift of Love through His death on the cross. I already know that through Him I live, I move and I have my very being (Acts 17:28), so why speak or confess something different than the truth?

I know that He was bruised for my transgressions. I know that the chastisement of my peace was upon Him. I know that by His stripes I am [already] healed. So, if I know these things, then my response to sickness and disease of any kind should reflect what I already know.

Whether the issue before me is redemption from sin through His blood, or protection from sickness and disease, according to the Bible, healing is available to me, now. Praise the Lord!

Blessed children, we have the very Word of Christ at our disposal. The aforementioned scriptures should be at the forefront of our minds and out of our mouths at the slightest hint of sickness and disease. With the internet and cell phones in nearly every purse and pocket, we have instant access to the Word, which is the most important resource we have to crush sickness and disease in faith; so we are without an excuse to subdue the enemy. We have power over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19) in every situation and under every circumstance with the authority of God’s Word. Yes, saints, we are that powerful; so powerful we don’t have to tolerate runny noses, allergens or even an upset stomach. Now that’s a revelation of walking in the present, in the now, and in the WOW!

Sickness has no right to rule and reign in our bodies! For the born-again, spirit-filled believer, sickness and disease are demonic intrusions that attempt to trespass against the temples that Jesus paid for with His own blood. We are bought with a price, the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Corinthians 7:23). And secondly, we are not under the curse because Christ became a curse for us (Galatians 3:13). Sickness and disease are a byproduct of sin; they are not a fact of life—at least not my life, because I’m not receiving that! I’m not tolerating the symptoms of sickness and disease in my life because I don’t have to; Jesus paid a HIGH PRICE for my redemption and when sickness tries to come against me, I rebuke it in the Name of Jesus. I will not be fodder for that nasty ole devil and neither will my body. I will not allow myself to be a punching bag for Satan. Satan has nothing on me. I have sown many prayers for others who have come under attack for the smallest of discomforts and not just the large things like cancer, heart disease and diabetes; and those seeds sown in prayer come with a return, so I am expecting miraculous results in my own life and so should you. I am redeemed and so are you. I do not want my brothers and sisters to be under Satan’s wicked attacks! Saints, we can no longer give place to the devil. If we give him an inch, he will take a mile; so as soon as you feel even the slightest twinge of sickness coming against your body, take authority over it immediately and stand your ground with the Word of God.

Now, let me make this very clear, we have the power and the authority we have because GOD is good. We are nothing without Him in our hearts and we have because He gives. The Bible says, we love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19) and because the Word of God is true, we know we can quote His words over our circumstances and expect dynamic results.

Does God speak then not act? Does He promise then not fulfill (Numbers 23:19)?

We can count on Him to keep us healthy at ALL times because He loves us. It would take a sick twisted fruit-loop to say they love someone then leave them with sickness and disease; thankfully, our God is not like some twisted humans; He says what He means and He means what He says. It is we dear brothers and sisters who get the messaging of Jesus messed up. When we listen to the doctrines and the mindsets of men over the messaging of God’s Word, we set ourselves up for failure. God has not called us to fail but to succeed and to be blessed. I don’t know about you, but I have yet to find a scripture where God said sickness and disease are a necessary part of life. It is the thief who comes to steal, to kill and to destroy (John 10:10). It is the thief who comes to rob people of their time, their money, and their resources and in some cases, their loved ones.

Now, for those who haven’t exercised their faith muscles to this level don’t lose heart, just begin now; begin somewhere. God knows that for many, a quick call to the doctor or a quick run to the drug store for relief is sometimes easier than trying to stand on faith; but try your best to start somewhere; and if you have to call a doctor or grab a pill, don’t beat yourself up over it. But at least try to take authority over symptoms right away so you can begin stretching those faith muscles. Speaking for myself, I am glad I learned to push through with rebuking even the common cold. Less money for drugs and doctors means more money for me and more money for the kingdom. Woohoo! But no matter where you begin, know that God’s will is always healing and just to drive that truth home, consider Luke the Physician, whom Jesus chose as one of His disciples. Isn’t it interesting that in every account we have where Jesus is healing in the Book of Luke, there isn’t one mention of Luke being called upon to dole out a shot, write a prescription or a give a person a pill? Luke had zero to say about medical healing in his writings about his travel with Jesus. Perhaps we should let that sink in for a minute.

So what’s the point? Don’t tolerate sickness. You don’t have to accept it, succumb to it or invite it into your body. If you are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus, then the enemy has no legal authority to harass you in your body—ever! And if you have scriptures already memorized in your arsenal, you can aim those darts at the wicked one and subdue his attacks. There is nothing more powerful than the Holy written Word of God so don’t give place to the devil. Submit yourselves unto God and watch the devil flee (James 4:7). You do not have to accept sickness, disease or infirmity ever saints; the Word of God makes this abundantly clear.
